The AOPN president Dr. Obiora Madu in his opening remarks stressed the need for private and public organizations to employ the right members of staff to increase efficiency and in return boost the nation’s economy. He stated that most developing countries depend on outsourcing for rapid growth. He encouraged the outsourcing providers to always play by the rule and collaborate with one another to raise outsourcing standard in Nigeria. Dr. Madu told the participants that the event was organised as part of the Association’s annual program that brings services providers, buyers, and government agencies together to deliberate on issues and outlook for the coming year. According to him, “The industry is a baby that is growing and is not likely to stop growing but our concern is how to make it grow at the rate it is supposed to grow”. He stated that within the first quarter of 2020, the outsourcing industry will have a policy that will proceed into a bill.
